Break the box and see what happens

This game was developed in 3 hours for a Trijam. You should first break the boxes that appear on your way. If there is an apple in the box, you should collect it to increase the score. If the box contains a skull, you should jump over it to avoid it. It's that simple!

 Your attack has range, so attacking at the prefect time will give you more time to react!

Controls

  • Jump: 'W', 'ArrowUp', 'Space'
  • Smash: 'S', 'ArrowDown'

Credits

The font was made by datagoblin. The sound effects were taken from jdwasabi. Thank you guys! All the other stuff was made by myself. I have used Godot Engine, so also a huge thanks to the developers of it.

The idea is cool and works well. It took me a little while to assimilate the range of hammer, which isn't visually very explicit. A bow, revolver or other tool might have had more relevance. In any case, once you've got the range right, the game works well and challenges your reflexes very well. Well done!

Something makes me reflectively jump over apples and bump into skulls :D

This happens to me also tbh haha. Adds difficulty to the game (i think)
